One-Off Cleaning in London
Here at IVS Cleaning, we offer a range of different cleaning services catering to the needs of our clients. Whilst many customers opt for regular cleaning services, currently servicing nearly 400 regular clients, as part of our cleaning services, we are pleased also to offer one-off cleaning. Today we will focus on what we mean by one-off cleaning and the different requirements that may lead to using this service.
What is One-Off Domestic Cleaning?
One-off domestic cleaning means that the cleaning service is not a regular commitment. For our one-off domestic cleaning service, we will typically send one person to complete the work, which is conducted on an hourly-based service, usually from your regular cleaner. As this service is a one-off rather than a reoccurring weekly clean, it is offered as part of our one-off domestic clean service. This is suitable for people with a regular cleaner who is unavailable for some reason, and we will cover their absence and the session.
What is One-Off Cleaning?
A one-off clean will offer you an increased level of cleaning compared to a regular cleaning service. Whilst weekly cleans focus on the surface areas, a one-off clean service will get into all the nooks and crannies that their regular cleaning doesn’t get to tackle.
With this service, we can clean thorough your bathroom, disinfect and deodorise your furniture, remove cobwebs from windows, sills and corners and remove tar and grease from sinks, bathtubs and showers.
The One-Off cleaning is an hourly-based service and is usually estimated based on the property layout. Still, each property is entirely different, and when our team realise that the time won't be enough, we work on client prioritises first, and then if we have more time, we can finish with the rest.
Here is an essential checklist of what you can expect when you book a One-Off Depp Cleaning
Kitchen: Polishing all countertops, descaling sinks, cleaning the cupboards outside, vacuuming and mopping the floor. Cleaning the oven, fridge, and all remaining large kitchen appliances from outside. If the client wishes them to be cleaned from the inside, he/she has to be booked an additional service - Professional Appliances and Oven cleaning service. This has to be requested separately because it is a different service. Please note that the kitchen cupboards inside are not a part of the One-Off Cleaning unless you ask for this to be done before the booking. We do not clean any cupboards full of personal stuff from the inside. The only cupboards we could clean from the inside are the kitchen cupboards if the client empties them before the cleaning and if this has been requested. If a client asks for the kitchen cupboards to be emptied and cleaned by our team, then we do not take any responsibility for any broken items.
Bathroom(s): Polishing mirrors, descaling sinks, tile scrubbing, cleaning all cabinets, and cleaning the tub, shower, toilet and the entire floor surface.
Living room(s): Removing spider webs, cleaning doors, polishing windows from inside, hoovering and mopping the floor, wiping skirting boards, cleaning furniture from dust.
Hallway(s): Dusting furnishes, wiping skirting boards, vacuuming carpets, mopping the floors if necessary and polishing the property’s front door.
Bedroom(s): Dusting lampshades, wiping pictures, scrubbing light switches, cleaning wardrobes from dust, polishing all door handles, dusting bedframes and bedsides.
Staircase(s): Dust rails skirtings, remove fingerprints from the stair rails, vacuum the stairs and mop if necessary.
Carpets and Upholstery Steam cleaning is a separate service and not part of any other service. It has to be requested/booked before the booking.
All other stuff which is classed as personal items, such as clothes, cosmetics, shoes, and decorations, will not be cleaned, only moved to clean the surfaces underneath them.
If a client asks for the kitchen cupboards to be emptied and cleaned by our team, then we do not take any responsibility for any broken items.
This service has no guarantee of quality as each person has their vision and expectation of One-Off Cleaning.
That is why the cleaning teams work according to priorities given by the customer, either before or during the service.
End of Tenancy Cleaning
Other than the build-up of dirt and grime when living at a property, another reason you may opt for a one-off clean service is when moving in or out of the property. This is referred to as an End of Tenancy cleaning or a Move-in or Move-out cleaning service. This helps to ensure that everything is spick and span when leaving the property for any new tenants moving in.
What’s Not Included in One-Off Cleaning
Whilst one-off cleaning does give your property a One-Off clean, there are a number of additional cleaning services that are not included in this type of cleaning. If you would like these services, they need to be booked on top of the one-off clean. These services include cleaning the outside of windows, wall cleaning or wall treatments, and carpet and upholstery cleaning.
One-Off Cleaning Prices
Our current hourly price for One-Off Cleaning is £22 per hour per person plus £30.00 for equipment & detergents.
The minimum booking request is for two people for three hours with a minimum charge of £162.00
Whatever cleaning services you require, you can obtain a quotation for your cleaning services quickly from our website simply by selecting the cleaning services you want and entering your postcode. Then you can tell us the details about your rooms and floors and add any additional cleaning services, such as professional carpet cleaning and the access requirements. We will then recommend how many hours the job should take and can then provide you with a free quotation for the work.
