Terms and Conditions for End of Tenancy Cleaning

 

General

 

1.1  Access to the property have to be provided by the Customer or if the Customer is not able to meet the team and provide access then we have to have written instructions on email how to gain access to the property. For any miscommunications by the Customer, IVS CLEANING LTD will issue a charge of £20 per hour per person for the whole wasted time waiting to get access and start the cleaning process.

 

1.2 We reserve any right to refuse disclosure of confidential company documents.

 

1.3 We shall not be liable for any third parties or any person who may enter or is present at the Customer’s premises during the cleaning visit nor any costs incurred of said third parties not being granted access by the Customer. The Customer will be responsible for granting access to the property to any third parties.

 

1.4 We suggest, without acceptance of any liability, that all irreplaceable items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valuable) be stored away and/or not cleaned by our team and for the avoidance of doubt the IVS CLEANING LTD accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused.

 

1.5 We are not responsible for any existing damage to Customer’s property in the form of old stains/burns/spillages etc. which cannot be cleaned/removed completely by the team using the industry standard cleaning methods.

 

1.6 Arrival times and cleaning times are an estimate. IVS CLEANING LTD will not be liable, under any circumstances, for missed/ cancelled appointment costs or any other costs owing to delayed arrival or completion times. We agree that we will arrange the booking of the team and any liability thereafter will vest on the team. You will receive an email confirmation email one day before the booking including the name of the team and their contact details.

 

1.7 For bedrooms bigger than 20 square meters and living rooms bigger than 40 square meters, the price quoted will increase and you agree that you agree to any change in the said(quoted) price.

 

1.8 The Customer must ensure that all personal belongings are completely moved out. If this is not complied with, the Customer agrees to an additional charge of £50 be charged.

 

1.9 Rubbish or waste removal is not part of the Cleaning Company’s end of tenancy cleaning service and will incur an additional charge if requested.

 

 

1.10 An additional charge of £50 will be applied if the Cleaning Company needs to unblock drains.

 

1.11  Any price quoted is based on one single fridge freezer and one single oven. If any larger and/or additional appliances are to be cleaning the Customer will incur an additional charge, such charge being at the discretion of the Cleaning Company.

 

1.12  If any ladders are required to reach any areas then the need for a ladder must be stated at the time of the booking. In the event that any ladder is required, the Customer will be liable for an additional charge, such charge to be at the discretion of the Cleaning Company.

 

1.13  The cleaning of 

1) walls 

2) any mould on walls or ceilings 

3) the inside of toasters, kettles and other electrical appliances

4) windows outside

5) gardens

is not included in any quote which is provided to the Customer.

 

1.14  Any price offered to the Customer will not include the cleaning of either vacuum cleaners, ironing boards, curtains or any other items which have been left in storage cupboards.

 

1.15  There must be electricity and hot water access within the property in order for the Cleaning Company to carry out the cleaning service. Any complaints will be rejected if there is no hot water or electricity provided. And there is no guarantee for the cleaning if there is no electricity and hot water 

 

1.16 All fridges and freezers must be defrosted at least 24 hours before the team arrive. Otherwise, we are not responsible to clean and defrost them. And you will lose your right to Complaint about this.

 

Cancellations

 

2.1 If you cancel your cleaning appointment less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled time, during office working time Mon – Fri from 9 am to 6 pm, the Cleaning Company will charge you a £50 cancellation fee. If you cancel your cleaning appointment more than 48 hours in advance of the appointment you will not incur a cancellation charge.

 

2.2 If you reschedule your cleaning appointment less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled time, the Cleaning Company will charge you a £30 cancellation fee. Rescheduling your service at least 2 days in advance of the appointment will incur no charges.

 

2.3 Both the initial booking fee and any deposit will be strictly non-refundable under any circumstance.

 

2.4 The Cleaning Company may refuse any cleaning job if the condition of the property is in really bad condition after usage and this has not been presented in the section of the additional instructions in our booking form or mentioned over email.

 

2.5 IVS CLEANING LTD reserves the rights to change the prices when the team arrive and after inspecting the property if the client has misrepresented any information about the condition of the property.

If anything appears to be hazardous to either the health and/or well-being of its operatives. 

 

2.6 If the Company is not made aware of such potential hazards before the commencement of the cleaning service, we reserve the right to charge the Customer will be charged £100 by way of a non-refundable fee.

 

2.7 The Cleaning Company may cancel or reschedule a service, where an accident or any unexpected or unforeseeable circumstances arise during the cleaning. The Company will not be liable to the Customer in any way if any cleaning is cancelled further to this clause.

 

2.8 The Customer can reschedule or cancel the appointment over e-mail (info@ivscleaning.co.uk) taking into account the office working time from 8 am to 6 pm with prior notice of 48 hours before the reservation. Any other cancellations without prior notice will occur an additional fee (See 2.1)



 

Complaints

 

3.1 All cleaning services, as provided by IVS CLEANING LTD, shall be deemed to have been carried out to the Customer’s satisfaction unless written notice is received by email (info@ivscleaning.co.uk) the Company with details of the complaint within 24 hours of the cleaning being completed. We will fully investigate any complaint and attempt to resolve it in a professional and timely manner.

 

3.2 If third parties other than the cleaning team arrive at the property during the cleaning, the company will not accept any complaints related to the quality of cleaning and the cleaning guarantee is automatically void. By third parties we mean any human being different from the team for cleaning.

 

3.3 Any personal belongings should be removed from the property. If there are any luggage or personal belonging left, the cleaning team is not responsible to clean or move or touch them at all.

 

3.4 If any removals services (removals companies) have been reserved during the cleaning - the company has the right to stop the cleaning straight away and to leave the property and full amount of the booking is required to be paid. Two different services are not allowed to be carried out at the same time. You should reschedule one of them in advance for a different date and time.

 

3.5 Any claim for damages by the team during the cleaning must be reported to IVS CLEANING LTD  within 24 hours of the cleaning service visit. 

IVS CLEANING LTD  will not be liable for any damage or loss caused by you or from the users of the property and any such liability will be between you and the Landlord or Estate agency.

 

3.6  If any discolouration or damage occurs after cleaning any surface and if this discolouration or damage has been covered by dirt and has not been visible before cleaning but has been caused by property users and if this can be proven by the team or IVS CLEANING LTD, then IVS CLEANING LTD will not be responsible for this and liability will be between you and the Landlord or Estate agency.




 

Payments



 

4.1 Reservation fee (Deposit) of 50% is required in advance to reserve your cleaning with us. The remaining balance will be payable on the day of the cleaning.

4.2 IVS CLEANING LTD has the right to charge your debit card after we complete the cleaning and we are not able to reach to finalize the rest of the owed amount for the service of another 50% of the total quoted amount, as you already have paid the 50% reservation deposit when you booked your service with us.

 

4.3 IVS CLEANING LTD reserves the right to charge interest on invoiced amounts unpaid for more than 30 days at the rate of 20% LPF (Late Payment Fee) from the due date until the date of actual payment.
